Bye week blues

The Colts started the season off to a hot start winning the first 2 games. Everyone in Indianapolis was high fiving all over the city. Then the news broke shortly after their win over New England that Qb Andrew Luck suffered a dislocated hip and would miss half the season (7 weeks). In steps Jacoby Brissett fresh off his newly signed 23 million dollar contract extension. Jacoby has looked anything but an XCFL Qb. Brissett is quickly derailing what looked like a break out season for the Colts. The Colts enter their bye week at a respectable 2-2, however their arrow is pointing straight down after 2 consecutive blowout losses at the hands of the Rams & Jets…yes those Jets. There is plenty of blame to go around as one time AFC rushing leader Nyheim Hines as gone M.I.A. Through 4 games he hasn’t even cleared 100 yards. No not in a game, for the SEASON. The offensive line, which has some of the best at their position in the entire XCFL has not lived up to their hype. The Defense can’t point any fingers either as they have been shredded on the ground to the tune of 150 rypg, not to mention a paltry 5 sacks as a team. There’s this Mckinley guy in Atlanta that had that after week1, maybe you have heard of him? This team needs to find themselves during the bye week or this can quickly turn into another lost season in Indy.
