A Review of Seattle’s 7 game winning streak

Week 5 vs Texans

Defense was the key to this win against the Texans. Seattle’s defense forced 7 sacks, 3 INTs, and 2 Forced Fumbles. QB Andrew Luck was on auto pilot going for 253 yards, 3 TDs, and no INTs.

Week 6 vs Rams

This game disconnected 2 times, both times the Hawks were winning. The final score did not translate well compared to how it was actually being played. This SIM gave the Hawks a 14-7 win. The SIM was generous to the Defense, giving the Hawks 6 sacks. Luck was spotless again in the win.

Week 7 vs 49ers

Another brutal division game showed yet again that the Hawks defense was for real. Forcing 4 Sacks, 3 INTS, and 1 forced fumble. Again Andrew Luck passes for impressive yardage, 3 INTs, and zero picks.

Week 8 vs Cards

Defense again was one of the main reasons for this W. 2 sacks, and 2 INTS were a big difference maker in this close game. A game winning FG as time expired was the deciding factor.

Week 10 vs Titans

Seattle implemented a “Bend but don’t break approach” against the Titans and it resulted in a W against the reigning SB champs. Seattle walked away with a W after their 2nd straight week w/ a game winning FG as time expired.

Week 11 vs 49ers

Round 2 of this match up was a lot like the first meeting a few weeks previous. This game ended up being a SIM due to the game disconnecting twice w/ the Hawks leading both times. The final score reflected what probably would have been the real outcome anyways. Luck continued his dominance as he threw for 264, 3 TDs and 0 INTs.

Week 12 vs Bucs

The Bucs owner was on Vaca, but the Hawks still played the game tough as if he were in fact playing. Seattle was down early but ended up scoring the majority of their points in the 3rd Q. 2 big time INT’s from CB Perkins was a big difference maker. Luck was solid as he has been all year throwing for 279 3 TDs and 0 INTs.
